Hydro Dipping Process

Hydro Dipping is a water transfer printing technique. It involves a specialized film that when applied, can adhere to a multitude of materials, such as fiberglass, plastic, metal and wood. The surface to be dipped is pretreated and cleaned, then a base coat is applied. The item is then dipped into a water bath that has the transfer pattern ready to apply. The pattern adheres to the surface of the item and follows contours and gives an excellent smooth finish.

Many popular camouflage, carbon fiber, metal, stone and wood grain patterns are available, we stock over 75 patterns but have 3 day availability to about 300. Check out our patterns by clicking on the PATTERNS menu.

Our state-of-the-at processing equipment is used by qualified Hydro Dipping technicians so that every project receives the high quality finish they deserve. Projects generally take approximately 10 days to 2 weeks, depending on prep time.

Our current dip tank is a 7 ft tank and we can dip up to 5 ft by 3 ft parts.

We also use special poly clear coat finish to give projects a lasting shine and long term durability.
